Virginia May Orf, 77

Funeral services for Virginia May Orf, 77, of Bakersfield, were held Oct. 30, 2018, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Orf died Oct. 26 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

 She was born May 16, 1941, in Bowling Green, Missouri, the daughter of Oliver S. and Rose T. Luebers Orf.  She loved her animals and her family and enjoyed crocheting, flowers and riding the OATS bus every Thursday. She was a mother figure to many, even though she never was one.  She was a member of the Bakersfield Full Gospel Church for five years.

She is survived by three brothers, Donald Orf and wife Linda of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Dennis Orf of Curryville and Ralph Orf and wife Ginny of Pace, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Florence; two brothers, Lawrence Orf and wife Diana, and Ronnie Orf; one nephew and one great-nephew.
