Subway classic is this weekend

The First Annual Subway Classic softball tournament sponsored by Subway in Gainesville and Ava will be Friday and Saturday at Dora School. Kim Hickerson, Subway general man- ager, is donating all trophies, including first place, second place, third place, consolation, 15 first-place medals and 12 Subway All-Tournament team medals. Subway is also helping with the umpire fees for the tournament. Teams include Dora, Alton, Koshkonong, Gainesville, Willow Springs, Mountain View, Mountain Grove and Seymour. Admission for the tournament is $3 for adults, $2 for students or $7 for a family pass per day.
