Vanatter wins Aldo Sebben Award

Dora High School junior Ashlynn Vanatter was recently presented with the Aldo Sebben Award for outstanding achievements in track and field. Vanatter was the 2015 Class 1 Missouri state champion in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter track events. The Aldo Sebben Award is awarded by southwest Missouri cross country and track coaches to a boy and girl in Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 in both cross country and track and field. The award, which has been given for more than 30 years, was named for  Aldo Sebben, a highly regarded football, track and cross country coach and athletic director at Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State) from 1952-1982.
