Dora downs Koshkonong; Falcons now 14-5

The Dora Falcons are heating up the gymnasiums in the dead of winter, advancing to 14-5 by beating Koshkonong 81-56 Monday night.

"We jumped out to a 29-11 lead at the end of one," said Dora coach Rick Luna. "The guys came out and shot the ball as well as we have all season. We had five guys in double-figure scoring. Any time we have that happen we have played very well. Defensively, we were able to pressure the ball and force some early turnovers that gave us the momentum throughout the game."

Jacob Pardo led Dora with 18 points, followed by Jesse Morgan with 16, Dillan Collins with 14, Justin VonAllmen with 12 and Billy Sexton with 11.

The win puts Dora at 2-0 in conference play and the Falcons will host Seymour at Dora Thursday at 6 p.m. The Falcons will then travel to New Covenant in Springfield on Friday.
