The Dora Lady Falcons lost a contest against Mountain Grove Nov. 19 with end-game score of 24-68. The Lady Falcons continue play this week at the Gainesville Lady Bulldogs Holiday Tournament, which runs Tuesday through Friday this week.

Dora School’s JAG class hosted Santa’s workshop this year, providing a place for students to shop for gifts for family members and take part in fun activities. The Dora Falcons held Homecoming festivities Friday, Dec. 8, which included honoring the Class of 2004 and a boys basketball game against the Plato Eagles.  Dora defeated Plato 59-46, bringing the Falcons’ season record to 4-1. Dora Lady Falcons volleyball players Haley Perkins, and Natasha Slavik were named to the all-class 1 district 8 volleyball team. Teammates Loghan Bruce and Kinley Luna were given honorable mention. 
The Dora Lady Falcons volleyball team ended their season Oct. 17 in the first round of the class 1 district 8 tournament when they were defeated by Greenwood 1-3. The match scores were (25-21, 21-25, 15-25, 13-25). The Lady Falcons season ended with a record of 6-17-1.
