Jennifer Lynn Parry, 66

Funeral services for Jennifer Lynn Parry, 66, of Squires, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. 

She died Sept. 17, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Vernon, Texas, to Garvin Henry and Myrtle Foster.

Jennifer graduated from Front Range Community College in Colorado with an associates degree in nursing. She gave 37 years of her life as a registered nurse, taking care of and putting other people before herself. She liked to shop, spoil her grandchildren, go fishing and spend time drinking coffee on the porch. Jennifer was selfless above all others, going to the ends of the earth to take care of those around her.

She is survived by her husband Rick Parry; daughter Misty Smith and family; sons David Parry and family, Jimmy Northcut and family; nine grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
