Bakersfield ball teams have big week

The Bakersfield ball teams are spending a lot of time on the road. All games are away games after their ballfields were destroyed by tornado on March 14 and further damaged by weekend flooding.
The Bakersfield Lions baseball team’s record now stands at 3-2 after an April 1 loss to ICC in Brockwell, Arkansas. They played at Gainesville Tuesday, April 8 and will travel to Summersville Thursday, April 10 and Seymour Friday, April 11.
The Lady Lions fell to Alton 8-5 on Monday, April 7 and played Mansfield April 8. The team traveled to Van Buren April 10 and Summersville April 11.
