Bakersfield Junior High girls are 6-0 for the season

The Bakersfield Junior High girls basketball team won two recent games, bringing the season record to a perfect 6-0. The Lions took on the Lady Bulldogs Sept. 28 in a game at the Gainesville High School.
Aubrey Luna lead the team with 17 points in the game. Other scoring team members were: Kelsey Cotter with 7 points, Carrleigh Green with 6, Alyssa Gailey with 2 and Shaniah Foster with 2.
On Friday, Sept. 29, the junior high Lady Lions won against Norwood, 28-17. Aubrey Luna again led the scoreboard with 13 points. Alyssa Gailey added another 7 points, Eden Cotter scored 4 points and Kelsey Cotter and Bristol Robinson each chipped in 2 points.
The team’s next game is this Friday night, Oct. 6, at Bakersfield vs. Couch 5:30 p.m.
