Bakersfield sophomore Massey Hayes competed in Class 1 state championship golf tournament held at Crowne Point Golf Course in Farmington Oct. 21-22. Hayes placed 27th out of 89 competitors. She had a combined score of 195 for the two-day tournament. She shot a 96 on the first day and 99 on the second day of play. Massey Hayes is pictured with BHS golf coach James Denton.
