Several pleas accepted during April 9 court session
Circuit Court Judge Craig Carter processed 21 defendants during the April 9 session of Ozark County Circuit Court.
Guilty pleas
Jerimiah A. Love pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he was sentenced to 5 years in the DOC, SES, and 5 years probation to run consecutive with the second case and successful completion of outpatient treatment services. Charges of unlawful use of a weapon by possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance, first degree harassment and misdemeanor charges of fourth degree domestic assault, second degree property damage and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He also pleaded guilty to damage to jail or jail property, a class E felony. Pursuant to the plea agreement, he was sentenced to 4 years in the DOC, SES, and 5 years probation to run consecutive with the first plea. The charge of escape or attempted escape from confinement was dismissed. Class D felonies are punishable by up to seven years in the DOC, a year in jail or up to $10,000 in fines. Class E felonies are punishable by up to four years in prison, a year in jail or up to $10,000 in fines. A third case with charges of possession of a controlled substance and first degree property damage was dismissed. (See story in the April 16 Ozark County Times)
Christopher Curtis Dobbs pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance, class D felonies. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he was sentenced to 3 years in the DOC on each count, to run concurrent with all other present sentences. Two charges of misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with prior drug offense were dismissed. Dobbs is currently in the DOC. (See story in the April 16 Ozark County Times)
Warrants issued
Floyd L. Lamb III failed to appear for his scheduled probation conditions review hearing and a capias warrant was issued for his arrest. A capias warrant is a court order that authorizes law enforcement to arrest and detain a person who is charged with a crime or has failed to comply with court orders.
Timothy William Kendrick failed to appear for his scheduled motion hearing and a capias warrant was issued. Attorney Price C. Kellar’s motion to withdraw was sustained.
Not guilty pleas
Jamie Diane Judd waived formal arraignment and reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty to six counts of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, all class D felonies, and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with prior drug offense. She is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. June 18.
Michelle D. Mahler waived formal arraignment and reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. June 4.
Ronnie Mabry waived formal arraignment and reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty to felony operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license - third and subsequent offense. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. June 4.
Jeffrey Loveall waived formal arraignment and reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with prior drug offense and driving while revoked. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. June 4.
John Zastrow waived formal arraignment and reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty to the class A felony of second degree trafficking drugs, the class E felonies of unlawful use of a weapon by possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. June 18.
Probation violations
Julia Ann Lesh admitted violating her probation by failing urine analysis and failing to successfully complete drug court. Her probation was revoked. She is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. April 22 for sentencing.
Katherine Jo Brotherton appeared for a probation violation hearing. She was taken into custody and ordered to serve a seven day shock incarceration in the Ozark County Jail after testing positive for methamphetamine in a urine analysis conducted during Wednesday’s court hearing. Brotherton had recently served another seven day shock incarceration. Against the state’s recommendations, Brotherton, who lives in Greene County, was also ordered to be screened for Greene County drug court. The public defender was appointed in her case.
Discharged from probation
Jeremiah D. Partee and Alyssa Brooke Collins were discharged from probation.
Continued to April 22
The plea or trial setting for Logan Dakota Johnson is continued to 1:30 p.m. April 22.
The probation violation hearing for Chad Russell McKee is continued to 1:30 p.m. April 22.
Continued to May 7
Originally scheduled to appear for a plea or trial setting, Timothy Kyle Sprague was rescheduled to 9 a.m. May 7 for a restitution hearing. Sprague is charged with two counts of third degree domestic assault, class E felonies. Class E felonies are punishable by up to four years in prison, a year in jail or up to $10,000 in fines.
The probation violation hearing for Andrew Brandt Clay was rescheduled to 9 a.m. May 7. He will be screened for drug court.
The plea or trial setting for Clinton Donahue is continued to 9 a.m. May 7.
Michael D. Peardon failed to appeared for a probation violation hearing and a show cause summons was issued. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. May 7.
David L. Bradberry II appeared for bond review hearings on two counts of felony failure to appear and plea or trial settings on felony possession of a controlled substance and felony delivery or possession a controlled substance at a county, private jail or correctional center except with prescription. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. May 7.

The plea or trial setting for Michelle D. Mahler is continued to 9 a.m. June 4. She is charged with delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia- amphetamine or methamphetamine and unlawful use of a weapon by possessing weapon and a felony controlled substance.
