Woman and man charged after man solicits sexual relationship with teen

Kenneth “Bradley” Arnold and Koree Pendergrass have both been charged with the class D felony of endangering the welfare of a child creating a substantial risk.

A warrant has been issued for Arnold’s arrest, and he is ordered to be held without bond until further order from the court. A warrant has not been issued for Pendergrass’s arrest, but a criminal summons has been sent to her home ordering her to appear in court at 9 a.m. May 30, before Ozark County Associate Judge Raymond Gross.

According to the probable cause statement, prepared by Ozark County Sgt. Seth Miller, the officer was notified of a possible sexual incitement case at an Ozark County school involving a teen and a paraprofessional who was employed at the school.

Miller responded after receiving the report. The teen reportedly told the officer that a man in his 30s had been texting her and trying to meet her to have a sexual relationship. The teen said that a paraprofessional at the school had been texting her also and put her in contact with the man. She said the paraprofessional also sent a photo of the teen to the man.

The officer obtained the teen’s phone and found various text messages related to the allegations between the teen, the man and the paraprofessional and others between just the teen and the man.

The paraprofessional told the officer she spoke with the man and told him several times of the juvenile’s age prior to the text messages.
