Dora cross county athletes receive academic all-state

Six Dora Falcons were honored with receiving the academic all-state award from the MTCCCA association. The Falcons XC team as a whole had 90 percent of students holding a 3.0 GPA or higher with a team average GPA of 3.4. To receive academic all-state honors, athletes must be nominated by their head coach who must be a current member of MTCCCA, have competed in a state series meet (districts or state satisfy this requirement) and either scored 25 or higher on the ACT, 1150 or higher on the SAT or has a 3.6 cumulative GPA (non-rounded, non-weighted) at the end of the fall semester for cross country or the spring semester for track and field.
