Dora Falcons beat Couch

The Dora Falcons baseball team improved their season record to 3-3 after a 13-3 victory over Couch Monday, April 7.

All the Falcon batters scored a hit. Runs were scored by Liam Gray (2), Brady Thompson (1), Taber Walker (2), Blake Uhlmann (2), Connar Lovan (2), Carson Howard (1), Lathan Smith (2) and Briggs Gunter (1). 

“Liam Gray made several putouts at short stop,” said Dora Coach Stetson Neldon. “Braxton Mayberry had a nice diving catch and threw the runner out.” 

Several stolen bases were recorded.

“Freshman Blake Uhlmann  pitched a great game going four innings,” Neldon said. “Three  runs were scored early,  but he settled in nicely – striking out seven and walking three.” 

Treyton Rogers came in and pitched one inning, striking out two and getting the third to ground out.

The Falcons will travel to Liberty - Mountain View Friday, April 11.
