Dora JAG students advance to nationals


The Dora JAG team is advancing to the national competition after doing well at the state convention. They are pictured here with Missouri First Lady Teresa Parson (center) at the state convention. All five Dora JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) students who attended the state convention qualified to compete at the state competition in St. Louis April 17-20.

They were awarded the following accolades: 

Madison Howell: first place outstanding chapter;

Tierra Mitchell: third place career preparation;

Karly Bettis: the chapter received a certificate of merit for JAG service hours with Habitat for Humanity;

Addi Simpson, Calli Dobbs, Madison Howell: third place for project based learning showcase.
