Dora XC competes at Eminence

The Dora Falcons cross country team competed at the Shannon County Showdown races hosted by Eminence High School Wednesday, Oct. 16. The Dora boys varsity team walked away with a close fourth place out of eight teams. Seasonal personal records were achieved by Daniel Tomlinson, who earned an all-time personal record and came in second place; Joshua Nold, who placed seventh; Liam Gray; CJ Brashers; Taber Walker, who earned an all-time personal record; Clayton Collins; Payton York; Brayden Helton; Jaxon Decker; and Logan Foster.

The Dora girls varsity team won their division with a split of 1:53 seconds between the first runner and fifth scoring runner. Seasonal personal records were earned by Isabelle Martin, second place; Haley Perkins, who earned an all-time personal record and came in fifth; Kayden Jones, who earned an all-time personal record and came in 10th place; Kara Anderson, 13th place and Kinley Luna, 14th place.  

Two Dora Middle School runners also reached new personal records – Kinsen Mitchell, third, and Brylee Van Rankin.
