Dora XC team continues to improve

Saturday, Oct. 5 marked another successful day at the races for the Dora Falcons cross country team when they traveled to Camdenton to compete at the HaHa Tonka Saturday Races. 

Dora Head Coach Sheree Nold said the boys varsity team collectively improved their times by 9 minutes and 41 seconds. The Lady Falcons team collectively improved their times by 4 minutes and 34 seconds and placed third as a team in the class 1 to class 3 division. 

Nold added that six students hit new course records:  Isabelle Martin, Kayden Jones, Chloe Barton, Daniel Tomlinson, Jeffrey Mills and Taber Walker.  

Five students medaled: Isabelle Martin (5th), Kayden Jones (13th), Kinley Luna (21st), Daniel Tomlinson (11th) and Joshua Nold (20th).  

Two other individuals hit season personal bests:  Lily Gunter and Blayze Collins.

The Falcons headed to Houston Tuesday, Oct. 8, and will compete at Mountain Home on Thursday, Oct. 10.
