Lady Falcons: Cross Country Championship

Dora’s cross country team’s first Big Spring Conference meet ended with a championship trophy for the Lady Falcons varsity team and personal season bests for several of the school’s runners at the meet held in Van Buren on Oct. 23. Varsity girls earning medals were Isabelle Martin, second; Haley Perkins, fifth; and Kinley Luna, eighth. Varsity boys who medaled were Daniel Tomlinson, third; Joshua Nold, seventh; and Cade Nold, eighth. Kinsen Mitchell medaled when she took third place in the girls middle school 2500 meter run. The high school varsity runners will head to Ironton on Nov. 2 to compete at the Class 1 District 1 meet.
