VOLLEYBALL: Dora wins 5-set match

The Dora Lady Falcons were busy over the last week, playing games Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and hosting a tournament Saturday. 

The Lady Falcons started last week a little rough with matches against Eminence on Monday, Sept. 9. The varsity team fell 3-0, and JV also lost 2-0. 

But the Tuesday, Sept. 10, match-up against Koshkonong ended with both JV and varsity teams stepping off the court win wins. 

The next night’s play against Bradleyville left JV with a win; however, the Lady Falcons varsity team took a loss 3-1 to the Lady Eagles. 

The Dora varsity team redeemed itself with all around success Sept. 13, when the JV team won 2-1, and the varsity girls won their first 5-set match of the season against the Bakersfield Lady Lions.

The Lady Falcons hosted the Dora Tri-Match tournament with competitors Plato and Couch Saturday. Results of the games were not available at presstime.
