Bulldogs to play for Conway Fall Classic championship

The Gainesville Bulldogs baseball team traveled to Conway to participate in the Aug. 29-30 Conway Fall Classic tournament.
The Bulldogs took a win on the first night of play against fellow Ozark County team, the Dora Falcons, after just three innings. The game score ended at 16-1, in favor of the Bulldogs.
The Gainesville boys then faced off against Hartville, also securing a win there, 3-0.
That advances the Bulldogs to the championship game, originally scheduled for last Friday night, but rain caused officials to postpone the game to a later date, which had not been determined as of press time Tuesday.
The Dora Falcons lost 16-1 to Gainesville, 11-1 to Hartville and 6-0 to Conway in the same tournament.
