GES to offer additional full-day preschool class

For the first time, Gainesville Elementary School will offer two full-day pre-school class beginning with the 2012-2013 school year. Principal Mike Henry said in the past either one full-day pre-school class was offered, or two half-day classes utilizing the same teacher and aide. “But that’s hard for parents who work,” he said.

For the next school year, two full-day classes will be offered, with each able to accommodate 15 students with a teacher and aide. Right now both classes are full, but parents may call the school at 679-4416 to be put on the waiting list.
