Disservice to the residents of Ozark County
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the huge price disparity since Phillips 66 bought out the Bullseye stations?
Over the past two months, I have recorded the price differences between Ava, West Plains and Mountain Home, Arkansas. The former Bullseye stations are averaging 35 cents higher per gallon of gas.
Even the same Phillips company prices are 25 cents cheaper in West Plains.
I understand a business needs to make money, but this is borderline price gouging.
The tax revenue must be a windfall for Ozark County, but this comes at the expense of local residents. I was always dedicated to buying local, but the Phillips 66 stations in Ozark County have priced me out of the market. I'll go elsewhere to fill up.
