Paul took his pickup to Marshfield for repairs, and Loren and June Hillhouse came by from Springfield and brought him home. Then Loren took him back to get it.
Paul and I went to Birch Tree Saturday night to attend a birthday party for Jack Barnes. Had lots to eat and even had homemade ice cream.
Claud and Linda Nelson visited some of their children in Arkansas over the weekend.
Leroy and Norma Morrison and Wayne and Dollie Mallow visited with Dwain and Betty Morrison Saturday evening, celebrating Betty’s birthday. They had cake and ice cream.
The Royster family reunion was held this past weekend at the home of Huey and Arlene Smith. This was Arlene’s family; she had 13 brothers and sisters, of which seven are still living. About 30 people were in attendance, she said, including their children Karla, Mona, Faylene, Jessie and Ronnie and three great-granddaughters, Makayla, Lauren and Alyssa. Arlene’s sisters, Doris, Shirley, Coralee and Osamay and her brother George were there; also a bunch of nieces and nephews.
