Oklahoma man killed in May 5 motorcycle crash in Rockbridge

Charles G. Cornelison, 52, of El Reno, Oklahoma, was killed in a motorcycle crash on County Road 142 in Rockbridge in Ozark County May 5. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report, Cornelison was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson eastbound on the county road at 7:35 p.m. when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, and the bike overturned, ejecting Cornelison. He was pronounced dead at Ozarks Healthcare by Dr. Donald Hockman at 9:47 p.m. He was wearing a helmet, the report said. 

The bike was a total loss and was towed from the scene by a local tow company. 

The crash was investigated by Trooper N. L. Nash, assisted by Cpl. N. J. Britt. It is the 10th fatal crash in MSHP Troop G compared with 7 at this time last year.
