Lutie School launches new school app for better communication
Superintendent Kathalee Cole recently announced the launch of the Lutie School District R-VI app by Edlio which is now available to download on Apple, Android and Windows devices.
Cole says the school app gives parents, students, faculty and staff the ability to stay connected and informed about what’s happening in the school district. Administrators will be able to easily distribute unified messages from the app for both emergency text alerts and day-to-day school communication.
“Everyone seems to have a smartphone. With this parent communication app, we can make sure parents, students and staff have access to everything happening at the school, right from their phones. We know family engagement is directly linked to student success, which is why this app will be so valuable to our community,” Cole said.
The app is free and provides parents, students and staff with immediate access to everything school-related including calendars, directions to events, contact information for teachers and administrators, important documents, cafeteria menus and more.
