Mountain Home digital photo contest accepting entries through April 30

<p class="p1">Entries for the 12th annual Mountain Home (Arkansas) digital photography contest are being accepted through April 30. The 2017 categories are animals, creative/abstract, hobby/adventure, landscape/nature, people/ portraits, plants, structures/objects, water, youth (grades 12 and under).</p><p class="p1">The entry fee is $5 per photo except in the youth category, which is $2 per photo. </p><p class="p1">The best in show grand prize is $100 plus a prize package. Cash prizes will also be awarded in first, second and third place in each category.</p><p class="p1">Judging will occur May 5, and winners wil be notified by email. A reception for winners will be held at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Reynolds Library in Mountain Home. </p><p class="p1">The new digital, interactive exhibition will be open May 8-Sept. 8 and will also be available online. The exhibit will also be shown at ASUMH’s The Sheid May 8-June 1, Reynolds Library, June 5-16, Integrity First Bank main bank June 20-30, and Integrity Frist Bank Wal-Mart July 5-July 28.</p><p class="p1">The contest is open to all amateur photographers and hobbyists.
