Sally Hambelton, Dakota Nash and Jeffrey Lane won the three open seats in the Gainesville School District's school board election during the April 8 General Municipal Election.

Hambelton and Nash won the two open 3-year term seats on the board. The unofficial results from the Ozark County Clerk's office showed the following votes cast:

• Sally Hambelton, 279 votes, 34.66%

• Dakota Nash (incumbent), 291 votes, 36.15%

• Wes Uchtman, 235 votes, 29.19%

• Jeffrey Lane, 204 votes, 43.68%

• Nick Jones, 92 votes, 19.70%

When the candidates filed to run, they had to choose whether they wanted to run for the 3-year term seats or the 1-year term seat, and the races are separate, meaning they could only be elected into a seat in the category they chose to file for.
