Caulfield man injured in South Fork crash

Darryl Hobbs, 54, of Caulfield was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains after sustaining minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report, Hobbs was traveling eastbound on Highway 160 about 3 miles west of South Fork in Howell County in a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse when he hydroplaned, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck the ground. He was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle, with moderate damage, was towed from the scene.Â
