Freeman edges out Haskins by two votes in Jackson township committeeman position

Candidate Adam Freeman was elected into the Jackson Township committeeman position during the Aug. 6 Primary Election by a slight edge of two votes, according to unofficial Ozark County election results. Freeman received 26 votes, while incumbent committeeman David Haskins received 24 votes. The committeeman is an unpaid, political party position within the Ozark County Republican Committee.
There were 50 votes cast in the race, which was limited to the Jackson township, a district in Brixey.
