Ozark County Sheriff’s Dept. and MJTF arrest seven after two weekend drug busts in Tecumseh

The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, along with partners in the Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force (MJTF), conducted a search warrant on two residences in Tecumseh Sunday, Nov. 6. The search yielded seven arrests, methamphetamine, morphine, items indicative of trafficking drugs, firearms and ammunition, stolen property and paraphernalia, according to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department. Four of the subjects were booked for charges including trafficking a controlled substance, possession of firearms and a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, keeping and maintaining a public nuisance, felon in possession of firearms, and arrest warrants. “In our county we strive to provide a law enforcement which keeps drugs and violence out of our community. We appreciate all the hard work that our partners in the MJTF, Ozark County Jail, Ozark County Dispatch, EMS and first responders and concerned citizens, which made this possible. We strive to provide service that is above the standard to our community,” a post on the sheriff’s Facebook page said. The Times will report on the arrests when all charges are filed.
