Rhonda Sprague charged in Friday shooting
Gainesville resident Rhonda Sprague, 56, is being held in the Ozark County Jail without bond in connection with a shooting incident at her home on Highway 181.
She was arraigned Tuesday. A bond reduction hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. May 18.
Sprague faces felony charges of first-degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, two counts of second-degree assault, discharging a firearm at a person and unlawful use of a loaded weapon while intoxicated.
The probable cause statement was unavailable at presstime, but according to this week’s sheriff’s report Sprague was reportedly intoxicated by alcohol when she discharged a pistol at one person and unintentionally hit two other people.
The two injured parties were taken to area hospitals by air ambulance and ground ambulance, according to the report.
