Times staffer takes home awards in statewide ad design contest

The Ozark County Times Graphic Artist and Ad Designer Regina Mozingo received two awards in the 2023 Missouri Press Advertising and Marketing Executives (MPAME) statewide Best Ad Contest in the medium-sized weekly newspaper class. 

Mozingo took home first place in the category of best signature page for her work on the Memorial Day edition, pictured on her computer in the photo at right. Mozingo also took home second place for best ad content throughout the entire publication.

The Best Ad contest is held annually, allowing newspapers from across the state to submit advertising artwork in a variety of different categories. Newspapers are judged based on the size of circulation, allowing publications of similar size to compete.
