Times staffer takes home awards in statewide ad design contest
Regina Mozingo, award-winning graphic designer at the Ozark County Times, recently won two statewide awards for ads placed in the Times in 2023. One of the awards was for the Lost Woods Hideaway ad on her computer screen here.
The Ozark County Times Graphic Artist and Ad Designer Regina Mozingo received two awards in the 2024 Missouri Press Advertising and Marketing Executives (MPAME) statewide Best Ad Contest in the medium-sized weekly newspaper class.
Mozingo took home second place in the category of best full page ad with an ad for Lost Woods Hideaway golf course. She also took second place in best special section advertising for all of the ads in the 2023 Hootin an Hollarin festival guide.

The Best Ad contest is held annually, allowing newspapers from across the state to submit advertising artwork in a variety of different categories. Newspapers are judged based on the size of circulation, allowing publications of similar size to compete.
