Store gets new name, owner

D.E. Pleasant, right, is the new owner of Bumper to Bumper, LLC, formerly East Side Auto Parts on the Gainesville square. Also pictured is former store owner Rocky Sullivan, who will continue temporarily to assist in the transition. The sale was finalized the first of the year, said Pleasant, who has worked for 10 years as a diesel mechanic in Springfield and in North Dakota. The store’s phone number (679-4527) and hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday) will remain the same, he said.
