Options Pregnancy Resource Center is here to meet the needs of local moms and babies
Options Pregnancy, located on Third Street in Gainesville, just off the southwest corner of the square, provides free resources for Ozark County parents. There are no income requirements or other restrictions, and all local residents are invited to participate in the program and benefit from its services. Among the resources parents can benefit from is a clothing room and free diapers and wipes.
Options Pregnancy Resource Center, located just off the Gainesville square, is a not-for-profit ministry with the focus on providing help and support to expectant moms as well as moms with children from birth to age 3 years old.
Anyone facing a pregnancy, whether planned or unplanned, can qualify for parental support as well as the resources that the center has available. There are no financial restrictions, and anyone is eligible to receive resources from the Options Program.
Each week our clients meet with one of our caring and trained mentors. Options has a full curriculum program that offers guidance for whatever stage our clients are in.
Mentoring sessions can range from pregnancy essentials, labor and delivery, parenting, co-parenting, love and relationships, Bible study, as well as fathering guidelines if fathers want to attend sessions as well. The course of study and sessions are each geared toward the personal needs or preferences of the client. All support remains confidential.
Any client enrolled in the program will receive a week’s supply of diapers and wipes at no cost to the client.
A few of the additional free services offered at the center include pregnancy testing, prenatal vitamins, breastfeeding classes and newborn supplies.
Options Center is located at 418 Third Street in Gainesville and open on Tuesday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Center is open during operating hours for a tour of the facility or if anyone is interested in more information, they may call at 417-543-0174.
