Norman ‘Dale’ Campbell, 68

Norman "Dale" Campbell, 68, of Lakeview, Arkansas, died Aug. 11, 2026, surrounded by his wife, Vicki, his brother Tim, and Tim's wife, Susan. No services are planned, at Dale's request.

He was born in Miami, Florida, on Dec. 29, 1957, to Norman and Roberta Campbell. He graduated from Gainesville High School and has several relatives who still live in Ozark County. He was fortunate to have lived in many different areas during his life, but his favorite place on earth was Panama City Beach, Florida and the ocean. Dale worked for 25 years as a Master Certified Flooring Installer in all areas of flooring. He enjoyed it.

One of Dale's passions was music, especially gospel and classic country. He had his own band and played regularly in Texas and in Georgia in the 1980s and early 1990s. In the early 2000s, he owned a recording studio in Tennessee where he only recorded gospel music. 

Another of Dale's passions was his chickens. He and his wife built a flock of about 30 over the last two years, and he loved tending to them. He especially loved their two Light Brahma hens, Lizzie and Sugar. 

Dale's number one passion was the Lord. He loved Jesus with all of his heart and looked forward to eternity in his Father's kingdom. He took every opportunity to talk about Jesus.

Dale's wife Vicki said the evidence of Dale's love for the Lord was obvious every day. His prayers were beautiful and his Bible knowledge was unmatched. “I owe my own Salvation to him. Watching him made me want to have that experience, too. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. I was blessed and honored to be his wife. He worked tirelessly to provide for us, even when he wasn't feeling well. He was loyal, faithful, openly loving toward me, and committed to our marriage. To say that I will miss him every day is an understatement. Dale would want me to remind everyone that being ready for eternity is the most important thing to do in your life. Don't delay. We don't get an unlimited number of days,” she said. 

Dale is survived by his wife, Vicki; his brother, Tim (Susan) and his brother, Allen. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Campbell; his mother, Roberta Simmons; his son, Bobby; his sister, Cheryl; and his extended family members and many friends.
