New OMC psychiatrist

<p class="p1">Dr. Veronica Amey-Perrin recently joined Ozarks Medical Center’s Neuro-psych Unit in West Plains. Amey-Perrin, a board-certified psychiatrist, joins inpatient psychiatrist Dr. Wayne Bentham in the unit. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She served her residency in psychiatry at the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education in Kansas. Prior to coming to OMC, Amey-Perrin was a general psychiatrist at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas. She and her husband, Jim, enjoy hiking and fishing in their spare time. The OMC Neuropsych Unit is a 22-bed inpatient facility providing stabilization of those experiencing a mental health crisis. </p>
