Andrew Dean Newton, 41

Graveside services for Andrew Dean Newton, 41, of West Plains, formerly of Dora, were held May 30, 2024, at Hale Cemetery in Dora.

He died May 24. He was born Dec. 30, 1982, at West Plains, to Berle (Bud) Newton and Cheryl Smith. 

Anyone who knew Andrew knew that he had a caring heart. He was willing to help anyone at any time. If you called for him to help, he was there. He worked for several farms in his lifetime. Milking and working in the hay fields were what he enjoyed the most. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Berle (Bud) Newton, of Cabool; his mother, Cheryl Smith and husband John, of West Plains; one sister, Anya Moritz and husband Jerry, of Drury; one nephew, A.J. Moritz, of Drury; maternal grandmother, Wanda Burgess, of West Plains; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, an uncle, an aunt and a cousin.
