Annette Lyn Mesicek, 49
Funeral services for Annette Lyn Mesicek, 49, of Mount Vernon, were held March 31, 2023, at the Mount Vernon Church of Christ in Mount Vernon.
Mrs. Mesicek died March 25.
She was born Sept. 27, 1973, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Darrel Dean and Tawnya Lynn Crisp Thomas (Krempges). She was a 1992 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. She was the owner / operator of a landscaping and housekeeping business.
Mrs. Mesicek was a member of the Mount Vernon Church of Christ.
On April 13, 2007, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she married Adam Lee Mesicek.
Survivors include her daughter, Adalyn Mesicek of Mt. Vernon; one son, Skyler Mesicek and wife Paige of Fordland; her mother and stepfather, Tawnya and Steve Krempges of Edmond, Oklahoma; her father and stepmother, Darrel and Patty Thomas of Monett; her paternal grandmother, Fae Thomas, of Thornfield; one sister, Kristi McAllister and her husband Andy of Edmond; one brother, Heath Thomas, of Florida; six step-siblings, Jason Krempges and wife Alyson of Miller, Jeremy Krempges and wife Brandi of Mount Vernon, Julie Rogers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Chassity Roberts and husband Charles Roberts of Pierce City, Kassity Stubblefield and husband Larry of Lebanon and Tommy Hayes of Republic.
In addition to her paternal grandmother, Fae Thomas, her Ozark County survivors include her aunts Nicki Crisp McFarland and husband Joe and Treva Thomas Warrick, all of Gainesville, Anita Donley and husband Dan of Thornfield; and her uncle Derek Crisp and wife Carla of Dawt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam, who died Dec. 5, 2007; her maternal grandparents, G. R. and Jo Crisp; and paternal grandfather Nuel Thomas.
Burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery on Farm Road 1090 north of Monett. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help the children.
