Brenda Wallace Waters, 71

Brenda Wallace Waters, 71, died Nov. 7, 2025. Brenda was born June 27, 1954, in Hammond to Louie and Eula Martin Wallace.
She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1973.
Brenda loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing her faith and singing hymns and gospel music. She enjoyed the church services and gospel singing that were held at the nursing home, which were put on by area churches. She always had requests for her favorite songs, and if they didn’t know them, she would lead as she knew them all by heart.
She also enjoyed going to music parties in Ozark County, in which her dad would play and sing. She would either join in with the music or play a game of pitch with her mom and friends. She loved her bling jewelry, the bigger the better! She also loved to play bingo and stuffed animals and dolls. She was never without a bottle of Yoohoo or a Mountain Dew.
Brenda never knew a stranger, and if she didn’t know them, she would introduce herself and normally find a common link with them.
Brenda will be missed, but her loved ones know she is rejoicing in Heaven, free from epilepsy and ailments and is at peace singing and reuniting with family. The family would like to thank Riverview Nursing home for their care, in which Brenda was a resident for many years.
Brenda is survived by a daughter Jessica; grandchildren: Trenton, Skyler, Michelle and Jordan; brother, Dr. Charles Wallace and his wife Kathy; nieces: Marjorie, Bridgett, Cara Jo and Ashley; five great-nieces, two great-nephews and a host of cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and, recently, her brother Don Wallace.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
