Dranda Delene Lawing, 60

A graveside service for Dranda Delene Lawing, 60, of Bakersfield, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at White Oak Cemetery in Tecumseh.

Mrs. Lawing died Aug. 20, at her home. She was born April 6, 1965, in Helena, Arkansas, to Archie William Peters and Martha Ellen Williams Peters. 

Dranda enjoyed writing church hymns, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She was a light for the Lord for everyone around her. Dranda truly loved the Lord and her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Todd and husband Douglas; one grandchild, Jensen Todd; one brother, Jason Peters and wife Denesa; one sister, Tauna Jewell; five nephews, Tyler, Gabe and Isaac Peters and Darius and David Jewell; and four nieces, Trish, Kaylei and Lola Jewell and Aubrey Peters. 

Her parents, one son, Joshua Hobbs, one sister, Terry Peters and two aunts, Francine Williams and Mable Leonard, preceded her in death.
