Elsie Marie Kosemund, 82

Graveside services for Elsie Marie Kosemund, 82, of West Plains, were held Sept. 5, 2023, at Ball Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. 

Ms. Kosemund passed away at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, in St. Louis.

She was born March 30, 1941, at Dora, to Elmer Walter Trail and Thelma Laura Smith. Elsie dedicated her life to her family and friends.

She is survived by three children: Rita Maria Smith and husband Robert of St. Louis and Valdean Leah Kosemund and Scott Frank Kosemund, both of West Plains; six grandchildren: Brad Kosemund, Cody Roberts, Jasmine Bennington and husband Adam, Andrew Smith and wife Becca, Ariella Smith and Adam Smith; five great-grandchildren: Rylee Kosemund, Ethen Kosemund, Maxx Bennington, Nathan Smith and Nicholas Smith; two brothers: Walter Trail of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Thomas Trail and wife Paulette of Atlanta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
