Harry Bonham, 72

A memorial service for Harry Edward Bonham, 72, of Gainesville, will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 16, 2024, at the Caulfield Community Building. He died Oct. 15, at home surrounded by family. All family and friends are invited to gather at the service and celebrate the life of the man who touched so many with his kindness, wit and devotion.
Harry was born April 12, 1952, in Gainesville.
On Sept. 12, 1969, Harry married Wanda Williams in Pottersville, and together they built a life at their home known as Big Valley, where they raised their children Stephanie and William.
Harry, affectionately known as "Pa," was a man whose love for hunting and fishing was only surpassed by his deep devotion to his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His quick wit and playful teasing were hallmarks of his personality, and those fortunate enough to be the subject of his good-natured ribbing knew that they were cherished. Harry’s presence was as big as his heart, and his love for his family and God defined him. A faithful member of Gospel Hill Church of Christ for over five decades, Harry's legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
