Judy Reiners, 75

Graveside services for Judy Reiners, 75, of Gainesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, in the Oak Grove Cemetery north of Norwood. Brother Dale Roberts will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Austin Dobson, Ryan Dobson, Seth Dobson, Shane Dobson, Schylar Kieffer, and Sydney Dobson. 

Judy, the daughter of the late Delmas and Pearl (Hayes) Moore, was born May 5, 1948, in Mountain Grove and died Oct. 27, at Gainesville.

Judy grew up in Mountain Grove and graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1966. She worked at several jobs over the years, but her main focus was being a doting and devoted mother to her sons. As they got older, Judy completed her degree as a medical transcriptionist, the field in which she worked for many years before retirement. After retirement, Judy loved volunteering at the Gainesville library. Judy loved to fish and enjoyed working in the garden. She particularly loved cooking for, and spending time with, her grandchildren.

Judy was saved and baptized at a young age. She had a great love for her Lord and Savior. Her family says that she is now divinely healed and worshipping with her parents at the feet of Jesus.

Judy is survived by her husband Tim Reiners of Gainesville; two sons, Kevin Dobson and Tina of Springfield and Scott Dobson and wife Sabrina, of Hartville; six grandchildren: Austin Dobson, Ryan Dobson, Schylar Kieffer and husband Shane, Sydney Dobson, Seth Dobson and Shane Dobson; one sister, Kathy Tate and husband Dwaine, of Norwood; one brother, Gary Moore and wife Karen, of Mountain Grove; many nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
