Lois Marie Arbour, 92

Lois Marie Arbour, 92, died Feb. 12, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on Feb. 19, 1932, in Rock Island County, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Ziegler) Knapp.

Lois enjoyed riding the hills in Colorado for 42 years and the trails in Missouri. She was a National American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) member. She was the drag rider and did it for 22 years. She rode mules for 23 years. She loved her mules and camping.

Lois retired from the federal government in Denver, Colorado, and Sir Speedy Printing in Englewood, Colorado.

She is survived by her three children: daughter Shelli Reed and son-in-law Kelly Reed of Derby, Kansas, daughter Sheila Adams of Denver, Colorado, and son Kevin Edie of Lakewood, Colorado; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, older brother Joseph Knapp, younger brother Charles (Boots) Knapp, twin sister Phyllis Butterfield, and grandson Bobby Adams.
