Rodney Miller, 67

Funeral services are pending for Rodney Miller, 67, of Gainesville.
Rod died at Baxter Health Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at 6:08 p.m. Sept. 26, 2024.
He was born in Homestead, Florida, at Miami-Dade Hospital. Rod was raised by his father Sheridan W. Miller and his grandmother Beatrice Miller. He had two daughters, Samantha and Tabitha Miller.
He loved Florida, the Everglades and alligators. In August of 1999, he moved to Ozark County and was proud to call it home. Shortly after moving, he started working for MLH and Sons. He worked there for 23 years. He loved his job and considered all who worked there family. They all became an important part of his life, and he held them very near and dear to him.
He had four grandchildren who became his whole world. He loved watching them play in sports, watching movies together and teaching them to shoot. He was the best grandpa and loved being one. He loved spending time with his grandkids, often showing them that he was always the biggest kid of all, getting himself, his grandkids and his son-in-law in trouble all of the time. He was a jokester and loved making people laugh. He was an honest and hardworking man. You never had to worry about what he was thinking. If he thought it, it was said. He had a big smile and a bigger heart. To have known him was to love him. He loved his family, friends, God, fishing, college football, anything to do with the weather, guns, working on his trucks and music. He was a good ol' country boy and was proud to be one.
He survived by his daughters: Samantha Frazier and husband Dustin and Tabitha Miller; and four grandchildren: Taylor, Braxton, Kaylie and Kimber; as well as many friends he considered family.
He is proceeded in death his father Sheridan Miller and grandmother Beatrice Miller.
