Ruth Elaine Stone, 69, of Tecumseh, died May 5, 2024, at her residence. Burial will be private.
She was born Aug. 20, 1954, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to John David and Irene Mildred (Spechals) Johnson.
Ruth worked for many years alongside her husband, Ernie Stone, as a truck mechanic. She loved her family very much and was always there for them.
She is survived by three siblings: Linda Toole of Tecumseh, George Mayfield of Calico Rock, Arkansas, and Harvey Johnson of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Stone; her parents; and two brothers, Bobby Mayfield and Harold Johnson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
