Sherry Pemberton, 67

Celebration of life services for Sherry Pemberton, 67, of Gamaliel, Arkansas, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains and at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at Gamaliel Church of Christ.    

Mrs. Pemberton died Jan. 28, at Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

She was born July 31, 1957, at West Plains, to James Cecil Richardson and Bertha Lou Collins Richardson. Sherry married her high school sweetheart, Rocky Pemberton, on Nov. 22, 1974, and they were blessed with two children. Sherry was a devoted wife and mother. She was a Christian and a member of the Gamaliel Church of Christ.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Rocky Pemberton; one son, Michael A. Pemberton; four grandchildren: Kody, Jeramy, Sierra and Jordan; five great-grandchildren: Noah, Landon, Avery, Huntleigh and Dawson; four brothers: Charles Richardson, Doyle Richardson, Jerry Richardson and Gary Richardson; one sister, Terry Collins; one brother-in-law, Jack Pemberton; three sisters-in-law: Janet Davidson, Shirley Neal and Angie Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Amy; and two brothers: James and Billy Richardson.
