OC Ministerial Alliance plans fall crusade Sept. 7-9

The Ozark County Ministerial Alliance will sponsor a fall crusade Sept. 7 through 9 at Benton Breeding Stadium at Gainesville High School. Services will begin at 7 p.m. each evening.
"We are excited to bring local Christians together in this event with local pastors preaching and singers and musicians from local churches providing the music," alliance president Betty Stanley said. "We began the crusade programs last year, but we've scheduled it a little earlier this year to avoid the cool nights that got a little uncomfortable during the 2010 crusade."
Pastor Dale Roberts from Hilltop Victory Chapel will be preaching in the Wednesday night service. Pastor Betty Stanley from Needmore Church of God will preach Thursday night, with Pastor Doug Irwin of Liberty General Baptist Church closing out the services Friday night.
Music will be under the direction of Pastor Mike Dillin, Gainesville First Baptist.
Preparation for the crusade includes a concentrated prayer effort already underway in local churches. "We are asking Christians from all churches to join in this prayer effort leading up to the crusade," Stanley said.
Stanley said planners have tried to include representatives from as many churches as possible in the event. In addition to the preachers, singers and musicians, others will be involved as ushers and in other areas as required.
An offering will be received each evening with all funds going to the benevolent ministries of the alliance.
Seating will be on the stadium bleachers, or you may prefer to bring your lawn chairs.
