Paving of J Highway continues

J Highway is getting a new layer of skin. The hot black asphalt is going down on the highway which runs from U.S. Highway 160 at Miller's Store south to the Arkansas state line where it becomes Arkansas Highway 201.
Pace Construction, a subcontractor picked by the Missouri Department of Transportation, is applying a 1-inch overlay on J Highway.
The project was about 75% completed by Friday evening.
Expect lane closures and delays into next week.
Crews work in the heat and humidity Friday afternoon applying asphalt to J Highway.
