Reception for retiring Judge Moody is Dec. 14

An open house in honor of retiring Circuit Court Judge John G. Moody will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in the Division I courtroom of the Wright County Courthouse, 125 Court Square in Hartville. Everyone is welcome to attend and say farewell.

Moody is retiring as presiding judge of the 44th Judicial Circuit, including Ozark, Douglas and Wright counties, effective Dec. 31. He will be replaced by recently elected Craig Carter, who has previously served as associate judge in the 44th Circuit.
